Victor Vran: Overkill Edition has been announced for the Nintendo Switch via a YouTube trailer from publisher Wired Productions. The definitive edition of the dungeon crawler, developed by Haemimont Games, will include both Fractured Worlds and Motörhead: Through the Ages expansions. The Switch release will also feature online and local coop, traits that most people should enjoy.
Leo Zullo, Wired Productions’ Managing Director, had this to say on the announcement:
Victor Vran: Overkill Edition will be the first game of its kind to arrive on the Nintendo Switch. A masterpiece both technically and in its gameplay, Haemimont Games’ classic RPG will be a must have addition for Switch owners around the world.
The isometric-perspective-set game is akin to Diablo, in that players are thrown in to a world to slaughter demons, start a quest to save a cursed city, and collect loot to power up their own version of Victor. The game carriers a PEGI rating of 16, similar to Teen on the ESRB scale, so we’d expect something similar. No exact release date was revealed following the announcement.
