In some rather unexpected-but-totally-exciting news, it appears that The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has confirmed to already be working on the next Zelda game, according to Source Gaming via Twitter. The information comes from a new book released on December 15 in Japan, titled The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of the Wild: Master Works 30th Anniversary Book Vol. 3, which contains behind-the-scenes style information regarding the development and concepts of Breath of the Wild.

It might seem baffling that a company would immediately start working on a new game shortly after a big release, but keep in mind this is generally how video games are developed; in fact, Breath of the Wild’s development started right after Skyward Sword was released.
The above photo features the cover, and the book is now available to order through Play Asia, and as always you can save $3 off your purchase by using the code “NDEAL“. We here wonder where they will take the story of Zelda next, and of course when any other information is known, we’ll let you know.
