Yasuhiro Wada, the creator of the popular Harvest Moon series, announced his next project today, titled “Little Dragons Cafe”, to be published by Aksys Games.
Slated for a late Summer 2018 release on Switch and PS4, Little Dragons Cafe is about a brother and sister who run a cafe while raising a dragon. The game will involve managing the cafe’s employees, learning new recipes, exploring to find new ingredients, and more all while raising their dragon friend. According to the CEO of Aksys Games, Akibo Shieh, Little Dragons Cafe has been in development for the past two years. With the past several Harvest Moon games being handheld releases, it will be interesting to see how Wada’s new title plays and looks on home consoles. If the game retains any of the farming simulator type gameplay that was in Harvest Moon, it looks like Little Dragons Cafe could be a great game for handheld play on the Switch.
