The Nintendo Switch version of Battle Chasers: Nightwar has been delayed while developer Airship Syndicate awaits updates to Unity, the game’s engine.
Battle Chasers: Nightwar is set to release in less than two weeks on other platforms, but Switch owners will have to wait a bit longer. In a post on on the game’s Kickstarter page, the developer stated they “don’t expect the delay to be significant,” and they will not provide a new release date for Switch until they are confident they can hit it.
This comes within days of a similar statement from Playtonic.
Airship Syndicate says they do not make this decision lightly, but their priority is to make sure the game performs properly when Switch owners get their hands on the game.
For those that do not want to wait for the Switch version, the developer stated that it is still possible to change their selected platform on their website.
