Nintendo has released its Earnings Report for the nine-month fiscal period that ended on December 31, 2018. In doing so, we’ve learned that there’s a new, best-selling Switch title, net sales are up over last year, and the company has more money than before.

As you can see from this helpful bar graph, Nintendo’s sales have soared since the Switch’s release back in March of 2017. Even so, Nintendo predicts that the company’s overall sales will increase by about $1.4 million. However, the company has tempered its Switch hardware sales predictions.
Even though Breath of the Wild might’ve launched the Nintendo Switch to success, it’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that now holds the crown of best-selling software. The racing title has moved just over 15-million units, outpacing Super Mario Odyssey by over 1-million units.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate also proved its worth by selling over 12-million units in just over a month.

The last piece of information that came out of this report was the delay of mobile game Mario Kart Tour. Initially expected in March, the game has been pegged for a summer release.
We’ll keep an eye out in March when the company releases another financial update. Until then keep it locked in to Nintendeal for the latest Nintendo news, reviews, and deals.
