The Green/Pink Joy-Con set, previously only available with the Splatoon 2 Switch console bundle, appear to be set for an independent release in North America. According to ControllerCrusade, EBGames Canada’s inventory system shows the Joy-Con as releasing on Friday Jan. 5 for the retail price of $99.99 in Canada, matching the price of previously released Joy-Con sets.
The release date shows that the Joy-Con will be available just three days from now, however Nintendo has not made any official statement on their release at this time. While these Joy-Con getting a separate release may be news for many in North America, they have been available on their own in many other parts of the world, including Japan, Europe, and Australia, for some time now.
