As we’ve seen in the past, Nintendo is not shy about partnering up with fashion giants, and it looks like they’re at it again. This time, Nintendo and Bloomingdale’s have announced a collaboration line. It will be their Spring release, titled “Let’s Play,” that looks to see two longstanding iconic companies team up. The line features many of our favorite Nintendo characters and themes represented in the latest fashion, with designers like Tommy Hilfiger and Marc Jacobs producing just some of the goods.

The official launch date of the line is scheduled for March 10, otherwise known as “Mario Day,” which does seem fitting and perfectly executed. The types of items featured transcend all fashion areas, such as handbags, shirts, shorts, S’well bottles, furnishings, and even ping-pong paddles. “With the 90’s nostalgia happening in fashion and pop-culture, Nintendo is the perfect partner to take over the Bloomingdale’s spring campaign,” said Kevin Harter, Bloomingdale’s Group Vice President, Integrated Marketing.
The idea also carries the notion of specific stores having gaming stations throughout, all hooked up to classic Nintendo games. No word yet on the games that are looking to be featured, or how they plan to be hooked up. You can find the merchandise line here once launched. We’re thinking of getting some team S’well bottles, but whatever you plan on getting let us know. When the items go live we’ll be sure to let you know!
