For those unfamiliar, the company takes titles that may not receive a physical release, mainly indie titles, and gives them the hard copy treatment. It was founded in 2015 by video game preservers Douglas Bogart and Josh Fairhurst, who wanted to give players opportunities to experience digital only games via physical formats that so many people enjoy. It’s a small-run organization that prides itself with its work, with most games receiving 2500-5000 copies produced. Some of their recent titles include Chariot, N++, and Lawbreakers.
Before today’s announcement Limited Run Games had only been able to publish Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita titles.
Games sell out quickly, but we will let you know once they are available to order. If you have any ideas on games you’d like to see come to the Switch via physical, let us know in the comments below!
