Dark Souls Remastered Limited Edition Announced

Fans of the Dark Souls franchise, or brutal games in general, are eagerly awaiting the launch of Dark Souls Remastered on May 25. It was revealed that along with the standard edition of the game, there will be a limited edition box set as well, according to the Dark Souls official site.

The limited edition set will feature an almost 3-inch bust of the Elite Knight. That statue doesn’t seem like much, but one can look at the photos and judge for themselves if the figure is detailed enough. In terms of price, the retail game will release for $39.99, and looking at the Japanese yen figure, the limited edition should only be about $5 more (the site quotes the “package version” at ¥4800.) The model shown here is a working prototype, and the design is not final:

There is no word yet if this will be coming to the US. For those curious, the official specs of the game on Switch are as follows: 1080p, 30 fps in docked mode, 720p, 30 fps on-the-go via handheld mode. When we have details on how to obtain the limited edition set, we’ll be sure to let you know. Make sure you follow us on Twitter @Nintendeal to stay up-to-date with the latest deals and releases.
