After a long-awaited silence, much to Bunnies’ chagrin, Nintendo announced today via Twitter that it will host a Nintendo Direct for the upcoming Animal Crossing mobile game. The 15-minute pre-recorded direct will be streamed from YouTube on October 24 at 8 PM PST/11PM EST. No other topics, including other software for the Nintendo 3DS or Switch will be discussed.

Originally, the Animal Crossing mobile version was supposed to launch earlier this year, but was ultimately delayed, confirmed by Nintendo in January, stating, “To accommodate the releases and operation of these applications, we have revised the release schedule for Animal Crossing.” This means that the game should launch before March 31, 2018.
