Andrew has been a nerd his whole life. He built his first computer when he was 8, started working in the IT industry at 15, and played competitive Counter-Strike at 16. His interest in amiibo started before their release but didn’t really take off until after the new year. He doesn’t like to admit it but Little Mac and WFT are among the amiibo that he had pre-ordered from Amazon but cancelled before their release. Little did he know a few months later he’d help start Amiibo Alerts. Gaming has always been his passion. He grew up with an NES, Sega Genesis, and PS2 before realizing that PCs truly are better than consoles.
The urge to be a little better, brought on by being a gamer, is what pushes him to help make Amiibo Alerts and Nintendeal amazing communities. Together with the team he has built, he is realizing a life-long dream: bringing something helpful and fun to a large group of people. Andrew’s role at Amiibo Alerts and Nintendeal as Founder and Editor in Chief allows him to create and build contacts within the community, review and present products, and stay on top of all things Nintendo.
Plays: Switch, PC, Xbox One, PS4, WiiU, 3DS, Vita, and board games.
Sarah grew up loving Pokémon in the 90s, but she didn’t play the video games because they were marketed towards boys (ahem, Game Boy). But she finally played FireRed after meeting her Nintendo-loving partner in college, and she has been hooked on Nintendo games ever since!
Today, Sarah’s favorite titles include Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Splatoon, and Zelda: Breath of the Wild. She and her partner have collected almost every Amiibo out there, and they share a Nintendo-centered YouTube channel, digitalelixer, where they open packs of Pokemon cards and offer guides to various Nintendo titles.
Nintendo is one of Sarah’s greatest passions, and she is excited to be involved with Nintendeal!

A native of Minnesota, Brandon has been an avid Nintendo fan for as long as he can remember and enjoys being able to escape into the vast worlds offered in their games. In addition to owning and collecting games for each Nintendo system, Brandon also repairs systems, collects memorabilia from his favorite Nintendo franchises, and has managed to collect every last amiibo. He is incredibly excited to be a part of Nintendeal team after having originally been brought on by Andrew to help with his other venture, amiibo Alerts.
Some of his favorite games include: Pokemon Blue & Silver, Earthbound, LoZ Majora’s Mask, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and of course LoZ Breath of the Wild.
Outside of gaming Brandon enjoys riding motorcycle, listening to music, cooking, and is a big sports fan. He is always carrying his Switch and 3DS with him wherever he goes, so feel free to add him if you’d like to lose at MK8D.

Nick began his Nintendo obsession at a very early age when he played Link’s Awakening for GameBoy for the first time. He had been playing games for the SNES like Super Mario World (which is why he’s a Mario master), but Link’s Awakening really awoke his passion for Nintendo. He’s been a hardcore Nintendo gamer ever since and has followed Nintendo for decades. Through the years, he’s held a subscription to Nintendo Power, played Smash tournaments with friends, and participated in his local Pokemon league with the trading card game. Nick is also obsessed with amiibo, and he’s excited to bring his Nintendo savvy to Nintendeal!

Brian Barnett has loved video games ever since his uncle Jimmy introduced him to them at the ripe old age of five. His wife, Audrey, was also introduced to video games by her uncle, lending credence to Brian’s theory that behind every gamer, there is a cool uncle.
Since playing Super Mario Bros. on the NES, Brian has had a passion for Nintendo games. The first thing he did when he started earning money was save up and buy himself a Game Boy, and they quickly became inseparable. Through the years, this led to his special love of portable game consoles, so the release of the Switch is the perfect storm of Nintendo action he has been waiting for.
In addition to his gaming obsession, Brian enjoys playing drums, writing and listening to music, and hosting a weekly video game and nerd culture podcast.
He is an extrovert, and loves talking about and playing games with others, so let him know if you want to team up and play together!
Plays: Switch, New 3DS, SNES, NES, GBA, PC, Xbox One, PS4, Vita
Charlie’s first attempts at gaming did not go well. Repeated, failed run-ins with the first Goomba in Super Mario Brothers 1 plagued his maiden gaming voyage. Undaunted, he would go on to become an avid gamer of all platforms, with Nintendo always sitting atop the highest pedestal. Except for that Halo 3 incident in 2007. We don’t talk about it. It never happened.
Currently, Charlie enjoys playing games on as many platforms as he can get his hands on, with current favorites being the Switch, 3DS and Neo Geo. When he’s not playing games, Charlie is a live sound engineer and manager for his production company, Clear Harmonies, based in Washington, D.C.
Charlie enjoys talking about games nearly as much as playing them, and loves meeting new people, so hit him up!
Plays: All of them games. Seriously.
